In collaboration with the Paris Opera - The Academy, Elizabeth Askren will conduct Rossini's La Scala di Seta at the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet, from 29 April to 06 May 2023.

"Rossini was a twenty-years-old composer in 1812 when the Teatro San Moisè ordered him the Scala di seta. Famous for its theatrical music that takes part to the comical features of the plot, this farsa comica set the ground to bel canto’s masterpieces of the XIXth century. Conducted by Elizabeth Askren this new production will be directed by Pascal Neyron." - Opera de Paris
