We at TOA - Transylvanian Opera Academy are very excited to announce the third edition of the TOA Summer Academy!

This year's academy will take place from Monday, May 9th to Saturday, May 21st both online and in-person. This innovative hybrid format allows singers, pianists, and conductors to participate from around the globe, making rich and meaningful connections across diverse artistic fields, cultures, and outlooks.

The TOA Summer Academy will dedicate its first week (May 9th-14th) to opera, focusing on Benjamin Britten's masterpiece, A Midsummer Night's Dream.

The academy's second week (May 15th-21st) will explore regional art songs in partnership featuring works by Béla Bartók, Franz Liszt, Johannes Brahms and George Enescu, the session will present a series of lessons, masterclasses, one-on-one mentoring sessions and a live showcase concert.

The goal of the TOA Summer Academy is to provide intense and meaningful encounters between its international faculty and participants in an encouraging and positive atmosphere, in order to expand the artistic horizons of the young talents involved.
